The course is hard work. It is largely experiential but you also have a good bit of reading, including fiction, and several films to watch each year, in addition to your course notes. Each season you celebrate the season, read and internally digest the lore; make a journey and taleweave that journey into a story which then tell onto a tape and send in; listen to a story, and sometimes a song, on a tape; read a book and/or watch a film; make one of the hallows, which includes journeying and ritual. All of this work you combine into a "whole" for the season and write up a report on what has occurred and changed for you. Timing is important, we work with the gods ... we don't ask them to hang about and wait for us because we have a hangover or are "not feeling like it" J.
